About

Richard MacKinnon Ministries is a ministry that serves the spiritual needs of the Church through prayer, evangelism, and Bible Studies.

In February 1974, Richard gave his heart to Jesus and became born-again.  At that time, he was the Chief Hydraulic Engineer for Improved Machinery, a subsidiary of Ingersoll Rand in Nashua, New Hampshire.

In 1976, he quit his engineering job. He and his wife sold their new home in New Hampshire and moved, with their two sons, to Tulsa, Oklahoma, so he could attend Rhema Bible Training Center.

In 1977, Richard was ordained as a Protestant Minister by Rev. Kenneth E. Hagin and began his ministry as a pastor in 1978. He has founded and pastored three non-denominational churches in eastern Massachusetts. In 1993, he was ordained an Anglican Priest.

He has ministered in churches in Bangladesh, Burundi, Ghana, Hong Kong, and Italy; conducted evangelistic crusades, and held leadership seminars in Honduras, Kenya, Uganda, and the Democratic Republic of Congo (formerly Zaire). He also has served with his family as a missionary in Kenya, smuggled Bibles into Communist China, and has had a daily radio program on WEZE, a Boston Christian station.

He is a graduate of Rhema Bible Training Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and a graduate of Living Waters Missionary School in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala. He holds an Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Junior College in Massachusetts, a Bachelor of Science Degree from Liberty University in Virginia, and a Master of Divinity Degree from Holy Resurrection Orthodox Seminary of St. Alcuin House in Minnesota, which is part of the Oxford Educational Network.

Richard and his wife Kathy were received into the Roman Catholic Church on Pentecost Sunday of 1998. He has served as a Pastoral Administrator, Eucharistic Minister, and Lector at Immaculate Conception Parish in Salem, where they currently attend.

Richard and his wife, Kathy, were married in 1969, have three sons, three grandsons, and currently reside in Salem, Massachusetts. See Richard's blog entitled "Two Lives" from 10/7/17, which is his personal testimony of how he came to Christ and how God's amazing grace made such an incredible difference in his life.

"Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved" Acts 16:31
